    We spent two weeks at the Mountain View house. This is our fourth visit to Taos NM and our second time staying at the Mountain View House. Our visit was lovely and restful just what we needed. The house is perfectly suited for our needs and had everything we wanted to cook and rest and take walks around the area. Our two small dogs loved the backyard and we felt safe allowing them to walk around the area without being disturbed or hurt. They loved the green grass which is rare for the area. We can’t wait to return and will definitely stay at Mountain View again.

    Absolutely gorgeous house with so much room to eat, sit around and talk or read and play games. Love the pool room and the fireplaces. The hot tub was a hit. Kitchen made me jealous and was well stocked. Beautifully furnished and had amazing bathrooms in every bedroom but one. Quiet location

    We loved Mountain View. The house was clean, spacious, and perfect for out family getaway. The location was quiet, but close enough to activities & restaurants. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio every evening, watching sunsets and the antics of hummingbird and pollinators as they enjoyed the garden. We would love to stay here again!

    I booked this home for a ski/Super Bowl weekend with 8 friends. The home had so many details uniquely New Mexico that we loved. We like in Denver and enjoyed the change up in design/architecture from the typical mountain houses we rent. The home was also very well stocked. From toiletries, towels (oddly most places never have enough to shower and use in the hot tub but this one did), cooking supplies and basic cooking ingredients. The drive to down was easy as well as the drive to Taos Ski Valley. I would recommend staying here if you are planning a friends or family trip to the area.

    Overall, the property was nice. My son, however, cut his foot on glass that had not been cleaned up from the floor. So, although overall, it was clean, I would say that more care should’ve been taken in vacuuming. In addition, my spouse had to wash the kitchen floor cleaning up old food spills. There were some other minor things that needed repair. However, I have to say that the property manager was very nice and very responsive. On the whole, however, it is a luxury property. Nice views. We enjoyed our stay and will go through Taos Vacation Rentals again without hesitation.

    This was an awesome property. The 360-degree mountain views really describe this properties name. The back patio door lock did not work, but the location is extremely well hidden and we felt safe.

    This is a lovely home that was comfortable for our 12 family members. The pool table and hot tub were nice to have for our younger family. The home is in a nice location for access to the main area of town. The main refrigerator was broken and apparently has been for sometime. There is a smaller working refrigerator in the garage but that was an inconvenience when you have a group of 12. I would recommend the property once the maintenance is done.

    We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We brought 9 people total, and the property fit all of us quite comfortably! We had a few issues, namely: the refrigerator in the kitchen was broken and had a wet towel stuffed underneath it before our arrival, and whatever smoke/CO2 detector in the main master bedroom looks like it was ripped out of the wall and never replaced. Otherwise, everything else looked and worked perfectly! It was easy to get into the home and instructions left for us were very easy to follow! I would recommend this rental!

    We met up with friends for five nights in Taos. Mountain View was a very nice place to stay. Lots of space. Great layout - effectively two sleeping wings, each with two bedrooms. The back yard was enclosed, which worked out well for our friends' dog. The kitchen was pretty well equipped. High ceilings in the common areas. We would definitely stay again.

    We had a great stay in New Mexico. The Mountain View home was fantastic and had everything needed to stay for a week. The home was clean, plenty of kitchen items available for cooking, and the views from the backyard were great. The property management and caretaker we’re great to work with, so I would highly recommend this home if your traveling to the Taos area.

    Our family of five loved our stay at Mountain View. The house was amazing and exactly as represented in the pictures. The floor plan and rooms are spacious. The house has increíble Southwestern charm and touches from the gourmet kitchen to the beautiful dining room to the pool room to the spacious and comfortable family room. We also loved the Mountain Views from the backyard and whirlpool.

    The house is in very good condition and was very clean upon our arrival. Finally, the location for our family was perfect since the house is close to all the amenities of Taos--restaurants, hiking trails and stores.

    We rented the Mountain View home to celebrate an early Christmas with family. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The home is open and roomy, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is beautiful and the dining room accommodated the 8 of us really nicely. The views surrounding the house are beautiful and it is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with lots of space between houses. The house was very clean and well appointed. We also enjoyed the pool table and hot tub.

    We loved this home. I am a chef and especially appreciated the well-appointed kitchen with top of the line appliances. Our pup loved the beautiful lawn in the enclosed yard. Views are fantastic and the pool table came in handy for our quarantined vacation. The home is clean & beautiful, the caretaker was friendly and accommodating, and the overall experience is fun and exciting. We love this house in Taos.

    The votes are in! This beautiful home and the sites of the Taos area made our annual family vacation the best we have ever had.

    The property description was understated. The actual property was so much more beautiful than described. It was very clean and easy to maintain that way.

    The caretaker was extremely helpful and easy to contact.

    We found something different to do every day of the stay in the Taos area. So much to see, but so little time.

    We will definitely be back.

    Mountain View is definitely that... a B-E-A-U-tiful mountain view from the backyard whether you are standing in the yard, admiring the flowers, enjoying the hot tub or eating at the outside dining area. We needed a place to enjoy with our two dogs and this house is set up well for it. Spacious house and garage. Very comfortable climate. We could walk our dogs down the dirt roads in the neighborhood. Excellent location for driving to Taos Ski Valley, the town of Taos, the Rio Grande Gorge bridge, the mountains, shopping, dining and more.

    The house was wonderful with plenty of space for sleeping and eating for 9 women.

    We were disappointed with the hot tub as it wouldn’t heat up. However, the caretaker did her best to try and get it fixed.

    The house is amazing... great location to ski resort and Taos, beautiful, cool interior and layout, 2 wings with a central single floor design... it actually exceeded the pictures. Kitchen and pool room and back deck nice, it really has a 5th separate sleeping space off the back bedrooms.

    We came from the East Coast, West Coast and the middle of the country. This was out “getaway” to catch up and enjoy being together. This is a beautiful house with a great view of the mountains a few miles out of Taos. The owners need to install grab bars in the showers and next to the commodes for handicapped guests. One of our group is handicapped and this was a problem.

    We had such a great time staying at this beautiful home! It was perfect, very clean, and had everything and more. I even baked a cake for our son’s 30th birthday. Wasn’t sure there would be a mixer but there was. It was a perfect location between town and hiking Wheeler Peak. It was middle of summer so nights were a little warm but they had plenty of ceiling fans and floor fans. We are Texans used to our AC. We got used to it and days were perfect. Thank you, Hannah, for answering all our questions and for great restaurant and yoga recommendations. Great week in Taos. We will be back!

    Great House for Family Get-Together

    There were 9 of us coming in from Texas, Ohio, and Kentucky. We all loved the house from the moment we walked thru the front door.....heated floors are a good thing! Some of us ski, and others do not.....central location on the mesa was an easy drive up the mountain, or in to town and beyond. We get tired of eating out every meal, so we ate many meals at the house....very functional kitchen. We had friendly billiard tournaments a couple nights. Everybody slept comfortably and having plenty of hot water for showers was never an issue. We'll likely be back next year. Thanks to caretaker Hannah O.

    We loved the spacious house. We had 10 people staying. I would say that if we would have had the maximum of 12 it would have been too many people to be comfortable sleeping. The views were awesome. My daughter and my niece spent time water coloring pictures of the view. The location was great. We loved the hot tub and the pool table was a nice addition. I have to say we spent much time playing pool and sitting in the hot tub. I believe that we solved all of the worlds problems while in the hot tub.

    This is our 6th VRBO property and one of the nicest. Had an issue with the hot tub display panel and Hannah was there in 30 minutes or less to get it back up and running. Great caretaker service! Would most definitely rent this property again!

    Spacious accommodations with first-rate amenities and convenient to local attractions. The water heater was not working properly when we arrived, but a single call to management corrected the problem as promised on the same afternoon we called. We would definitely stay here again.

    Beautiful home with everything one could need on vacation. The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The patio and Jacuzzi made for relaxing nights and mornings. This home is set back off the, quiet dirt road subdivision. The furniture was comfortable and the home was very clean.

    This house was perfect for our group of friends to get together for a weekend to celebrate birthdays. The location worked for our interest in hiking, visiting Taos and just enjoying each others company. The house was comfortable and well stocked. The cable television was not working, but Hannah worked diligently to resolve the issue.
