    This home is in a nice neighborhood outside of Taos aand the ammenities available were nice, including the community pool and the private hot tub. We were concerned about the "swamp cooler" air conditioning, but it kept the home comfortable during the day and very cool at night. The rental property accommodated our family's needs and was well stocked and was clean. Renters should pay attention to the layout of bedrooms and bathrooms as the Master Bedroom does have two of the bathrooms with showers.

    We were unable to get the television in the living room to connect to the internet. In fact, upon arrival, we had to request assistance in connecting to the internet as the information provided in the e-mail we received and in the book at the house was incorrect. Apparently, the network name and password had recently changed and had not been updated. Throughout the stay, there were multipe power outages which required resetting the router. The only reliable place to access the internet was in the bedroom with the router and even there, the access was not consistent enough to work remotely on every day of the stay.

    Multiple times througout the stay we did not have water. There were 2-3 times duriing each day that water stopped flowing, including around 10:00 pm each night. After 15-30 minutes, water would resume flowing.

    Good value for extended family 8 people. Needs some updates and refreshing, but overall a good rental. Kitchen is great - except for the fridge which has no ice maker and broken ice maker drawer - had to buy ice for the whole stay. Swamp cooler works well, but one bedroom has no way to vent to outside during our stay - which is necessary for a swamp cooler to be effective in that room. Gas grill needs a upgrade. Hot tub was great! Beds were very comfortable. Patio very comfortable. Overall a great house potential that is very good but needs some attention from the owner to bring it up to great.

    Great Location for Skiers to Taos Ski Valley

    Great home layout for 3-4 family scenario. Renting the Casita on the property is a great option for more room. Good location especially for skiers. Great neighborhood. Outside could be maintained better. Property caretaker wasn't as attentive with instructions/check in as in the past. Home needs a new coffee pot and add a Keurig. A larger or add another refrigerator if possible. It is small for 3-4 families. This is our 6th year to rent this home and we will be back. These are just a few small sugestions.

    We stayed at Casa Bella for our family’s annual spring ski trip and it was a nice stay. The house has pretty much everything we needed and gorgeous views. One bedroom was even off on the opposite side of the house which was nice for separation for our extended family. One of the bedrooms was extremely hot throughout the entire stay. We were told that this room just stays hot and that there wasn’t much we could do. The guests in that room ended up having to sleep in the living room to get relief and rest. The hot tub also doesn’t get incredibly hot which could have been nice after a day of skiing. Otherwise, the house was nice and comfortable.

    The house was clean and had a great quiet woodsy location. House is outdated a bit with bathroom/shower situation. Also they could use more outlets. Some were loose and cords didnt stay in. Hot tub on back deck was excellent. Loved the proximity to some great restaurants on the way to downtown Taos.

    Very nice house, great location. Needs some repairs, but only one issue that impacted our vacation. Light in laundry area seems to work intermittently and may have a short. Turned it on, didn't work, but at 2am came on. Front door needs to be replaced and would be easy to break into, but does work.

    First time in Taos, and specifically Arroyo Seco

    This was our first time in the Taos area. Let's start with the exterior of the property. It is private, peaceful and relaxing. The covered porch during rain is amazing! The creek in the back has a wonderful little waterfall. Lush and green. The hottub is an added bonus. Star gazers would love it here! We spent most of our time in the backyard. The interior needs to be updated. The shower heads need to be replaced, the dishwasher needs to be replaced, and it does need a full deep clean, meaning all carpets, rugs and couches. I would also recommend with someone who has fear of spiders- beware - There are lots of them. Home defense products work great for that. Kitchen is wonderful for home cooking! Expansive TV for those who love movies! (Which we watched a couple). The Beds are comfortable! I loved the layout of the home. Overall the caretaker is awesome, helpful and responsive! The management company is very professional. It is perfectly located! Everybody is very friendly. Short drive to pretty much anywhere.

    This home is located within a beautiful mountain setting and quiet, small neighborhood. It has a beautiful backyard with an irrigation stream, that when running, is amazing and spa-like. The property itself is interesting - many great things: huge kitchen, Wolff stove, big dining table, living room with huge windows, mountain views, very private and super clean. The master bedrooms are ok - old and dated bathrooms, but with character. Overall, the home has tons of character, fits a big family perfectly and is super private and quiet. And, probably 90% better than most homes in Taos, as it is an old, dated ski town. The management company is TERRIFIC and the home is impeccably clean! I would recommend this property next time you are in Taos!

    This was a gorgeous house, inside and out with a wonderful view of the mountains. It’s located on the way up to Taos ski resort but also very close to restaurants. The kitchen is fully stocked and so much room to cook whatever you want. The rooms are very large and the master bathroom is pretty spectacular. The place is perfect for a large group, mountain getaway!

It's around the corner from the charming town of Arroyo Seco a great hallway spot between Taos and, as avid skiers, Taos Ski Valley.     Great Memories in a Great House!

    Our last minute reservation at Casa Bella for skiing and meeting family was a highlight to a poor start of 2021. The rental agent was so helpful in helping us find the right property. I have five complaints. 1) I called a couple of weeks before checking in to see if we could have an earlier check in than 4:00. Our house manager said she would try for 3:00 but to check after lunch which we did. The texts were short and "No" there would be no early check in. We did get to check in about 3:30. Later in the week, she texted and apologized for her curtness and had forgotten the prior emails. 2) The house is cold but has thermal floor heating. After a long day of skiing my teenage grandchildren would lay on the floor in the kitchen for warmth. I'm asthmatic, had the Covid in January, and altitude which made my breathing shallow. I sleep at 65 degrees and the house was that so I was comfortable, but hence why my grandchildren looked for warm spots! The master bathroom never got warm enough for us to bath....use the toilet and sink IF you didn't linger. 3) The location of this house is, in my opinion, perfect for skiers, but not if you are a big foodie person looking for great restaurants. The house has a great kitchen and thankfully, my family loves having family meals. 4) The outside is beautiful, but someone needs to pick up all the big dog poop. 5) The water pressure is horrible. We live in a rural area and are use to varying our times in bathing, but if you are a city person, be prepared. Hot water is limited and pressure is poor. I would rent this house again. It was clean...smelled fresh. The hot tub was a highlight every night after skiing. It was a comfortable house that you could live in without worrying about breaking anything. Some of the decor is dated, but I don't rent houses for decor....I want and got a great kitchen, comfortable beds, hot tub, great people to work with, great memories, and oh so much more!

    we stayed an extended period of time. the place is very large and was a great size for our large crowd. had everything we needed. nice backyard with a stream running. nice hot tub. the place has sporadic internet. went down a lot. the furnishing and flooring are all dated. the place was pretty dirty. it was cleaner when i left than when i arrived. i have terminal OCD. so i cleaned constantly. needs to be gone through every crack and corner. linens were torn, had holes and stains. but the place overall was nice. a lot overpriced for it needing so much TLC. but overall nice enough.

    This is a beautiful home and property, both inside and out. The architecture and art work alone are enough to stay. The property in back the property has a beautiful creek and trees for shade. There is a big side yard for children to play. We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren here.

    Excellent location. Excellent house. This was my second stay. If I return to Taos again, I'll try to book this house a third time.

    My only complaint is that one of the bathrooms has a bathtub with no shower. Even then, 2 showers for 4 bedrooms was plenty for us.

    We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Bella! The home is beautifully decorated and was very clean. The view of the mountains was gorgeous. What a great location! We loved sitting out on the deck with our coffee in the morning and evening to savor the view, and it was always pleasantly cool any time of day. The house sits next to a tree lined creek bed so there’s plenty of shade. The kitchen has everything you need and I love to cook, so I really appreciated this. The neighboring horses came to visit! The management were very helpful and responsive. We would love to return (we didn’t really want to leave) and highly recommend this lovely “Casa” to anyone!

    House was lovely with great views.well stocked.great hot tub. Showers had very low flow. I used the farthers from master but nearest where i thought hot wayer was.     Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casa Bella rental home in Taos. It is a beautiful home in a lovely setting. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck, with the small creek running by. We prepared a great, multi course dinner in the well appointed kitchen, and then relaxed around the large dining table. The tiny village of Arroyo Deco, just around the corner is worth taking some time in the little shops. Thanks for sharing your home!

    Great Home with fantastic amenities. Hot Tub was clean and much appreciated after a day of Skiing. Kitchen was superb and well stocked with cookware, dishes, food wraps, etc.
    Large screen smart TV was much appreciated after a long day on the ski Hill. All beds, linens were extremely comfortable and clean (large supply of extra pillows, blankets, towels)
    A large Trex covered deck provides a beautiful sitting area to view the mountains,stream, and open view behind the home.
    This is a great home at a great value to spend time in while in the beautiful Taos Valley area.
    No disappointments with our booking.
    The agent and caretaker were quick to respond to our inquiries. A simple contract with clear instructions were provided. Very professional organization to deal with in our experience.

    My husband and I met our son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren for Thanksgiving week. The setting near Arroyo Seco is gorgeous. The views to the mountains are spectacular. We woke to a few inches of snow one morning which quickly melted away. The small creek in the backyard is an added bonus. The home was large and well appointed and we never felt crowded. I enjoyed using the Wolf oven and the kitchen had every item I needed. A great get-away to start the holiday season. We drive up to Taos Ski Valley and it took less than 15 minutes. A great location for skiers. We especially enjoyed the hot tub under the star lit sky.

    The views are gorgeous in this house!! The little stream running along the back of the property is so beautiful and we loved sitting out on the patio listening to it. So relaxing!!! The back patio is magnificent and we lived out there most of the time. The swamp cooler made the afternoons in the house so comfortable and was greatly appreciated! The location is very quiet and peaceful. The house was very comfortable. Our only complaint was the strange bathroom configuration. The 2 masters have en suite bathrooms. But the other 2 bedrooms must share a bathroom in the hall which has no shower, and a bathroom in one of the master bedrooms! So strange! It made things very awkward for the 2 guest bedrooms to have to go into the master bedroom every time they needed to shower, which was everyday, sometimes twice a day. Don't understand why the one master bedroom needs to have 2 completely separate bathrooms in it, especially since it already has a HUGE bathroom. Other than that, the house was wonderful.

    Gorgeous Property in Taos hills

    We rented this property sight unseen and were very pleased to find it big, beautiful and perfect for our family vacation. Our 3 adult daughters and spouses joined us in Taos for a week-long family vacation. The entire house was scaled for a group of our size. Big kitchen, living room with large couches, big dining room table indoors plus two outdoor tables on the shady deck made our stay very comfortable. There is a gas grill just outside the kitchen door in a good location for cooking and serving. The living room is perfect for quiet reading or watching movies on the big flat screen TV as well as a table for playing cards or board games. All bedrooms have good linens and comfortable king beds. There is a king bedroom off the foyer next to a hall bath with tub, sink and toilet. A second bedroom off the foyer with french door entry and doors to the deck shares the hall bath with the 'first bedroom'. The 'third' king bedroom is off the kitchen and has an ensuite bath with shower, sink and toilet. The 'fourth' king bedroom is the master bedroom with one ensuite bath with shower, sink and toilet and another very large bath with big tub, private toilet room, and walk in shower with two shower heads. The views are beautiful from all rooms, the neighborhood upscale and quiet. We recommend this beautiful home to all.

    Beautiful location and house. The house was beautifully decorated with top of the line appliances, dishes, linens, etc. The view of the mountains was magnificent. The Casa Bella is just a few miles from the wonderful shopping in Taos; a nice drive to Red River and a great day trip to Santa Fe.

    Stunning Casa Bella Luxury Home in Taos

    We spent a week at Casa Bella in Taos, NM. It was a fabulous vacation for our family of 9. The house was absolutely beautiful. Well stocked in the kitchen with every convenience you could imagine and enough towels in all the bathrooms to accomodate a large group of people. It was very clean and well-maintained. The bedrooms were perfect for having two seperate master bedrooms where you could have your own space if needed. The stream in back was such an added bonus, and the new full porch on the back of the house was absolutely wonderful for family gatherings. We ate on the back porch every morning and every night. The caretaker was so helpful and the mangement team provided wonderful customer service from the moment we inquired about the home, through the booking and staying of our vacation. We would absolutely recommend this luxury home! If you are looking for a warm feeling place to relax and regroup after a busy day shopping, hiking, swimming and many other things to do in the area, than this is the place for you. Easy access to Taos and Taos Ski Valley and yet you feel removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. Some things we would also recommend to do were: Taos Ski Valley for hiking or riding the ski lift chairs to the top of the mountain (and some of the best hot chocolate we have ever tasted at the Hot Chocolate Experts); the Rio Grande Gorge; Taos shopping at the main square; a wonderful toy store called the "Toy Store" with a fabulous playgound in back for kids to play called the Twirl (this is in the back of the main square); visiting the Taos Pueblo; eating at the Gorge and La Cueva Mexican (both in the heart of old Taos)- we had great food at both places, and right down the street in Arroyo Seco is a scrumptious place for breakfast or lunch or just ice cream called Taos Cow; cute little stores in Arroy Seco too; and also a wonderful grocery store called Cid's where you will find great quality food and nice prices.

    Funky layout, but our family (3 teenage girls) plus relatives loved the house - it was a real treat to stay at a house that was "in character" with the Taos area. The location was wonderful, and the kids really enjoyed looking at the stars in the hot tub at night.

    Beautiful house at great location (halfway between Taos and the ski valley). We've rented houses many times and this was BY FAR the best kitchen we've seen in a rental - almost overwhelming how many appliances we had at our disposal. We'd definitely come back again.

    I loved Arroyo Seco, that was a fun surprise that I didn't expect. So close to the Taos ski valley where we took some great hikes and rode the ski lift. Abes Cantina in A.S.for Fri. night taco night is a must!Plus Taos Cow, best Latte and brownies EVER!!!!!
    Casa Bella and Casita Bella were spectacular! Beautiful house, great kitchen, we grilled twice and enjoyed the heck out of the hot tub! We were 3 families and we were very well accomodated. The view from the windows and backyard patio I could never get enough of, plus the stream that ran through the property added such a relaxing element. It was nice to lounge in the hammock after a long day.Nancy was Johnny on the spot with the slow draining drain and getting us hooked up to wifi. I loved my vacation to N.M. mostly b/c I loved the perfectness of our beautiful temporary home, and it was just that, a "home", not just a rental.

    Four couples, old friends now in disparate locations reunited at Casa Bella. Lovely property, clean, nicely decorated, well equipped and spacious. Cooking and service for 8 was no problem, except limited groceries available in Arroyo Seco, need to shop
    in Taos. Comfortable beds, WiFi, HDTV, Hot Tub all worked well. Would definately recommend.

    Our family of 3 generations recently returned from our stay at Casa Bella and I can honestly say that none of us wanted to return home! Casa Bella is spacious with plenty of places to go for privacy, the kitchen outstanding (anything you might need), and the backyard was a haven for all of us. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time wading in the creek, rocking in the hammock, playing frisbee and all sorts of games outdoors (things they cannot do outdoors this time of year in Texas). The backyard is so private that you feel like you are the only ones around. We definitely want to come again -all of us!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

    We all had a wonderful time here. I would surely recommend this property at any time of the year. There is so much to do any season, but also offers the perfect retreat for rest and relaxation. We have never in any of our vacation rentals truly had everything we needed until Casa Bella. We had every kitchen appliance,paper goods, detergents- there were even SHARP knives in the kitchen!
