    Clean modern home with incredible views from every window. Kitchen and bedrooms are perfect. Living room has the most uncomfortable furniture ever produced. PLEASE upgrade this. No comfortable seating can be found. Hot tub was a nice way to relax. Rental could provide instructions on use of hottub (control panel doesn’t respond) and instructions for hearing the home (fireplaces are not for use) caretaker is very responsive and friendly. Appreciated him. Overall we enjoyed our stay

    Beautiful house and beautiful location. Plenty of room for family of 5. It could use a bit of maintenance. There are some cracked tiles in the bathroom and plumbing fixtures could be updated. Be aware there is no air conditioning. This will usually not be a problem as even in the summer it gets into the 50s at night, but it can be warm in the late afternoon.

    This home worked perfectly for our visit to Taos and surrounding areas. Close enough to the square and far enough away to be totally quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed morning coffee on the front patio and the hot tub in the beautiful evenings. Reserving and accessing the property was easy and seamless. No problem for our group of 4 but a possible downside for some might be that there is no shower in the master bathroom.

    The location is a bit from downtown. But has beautiful unobstructed views. It only takes a few minutes to get to a grocery store. Layout is good for 2 couples.
    Be sure to take bath soap. None furnished. Everything else is good. Our 2nd stay here.

    I typically rent a house in a more rural area, but the Taos House - located on the edge of town - was the best of both worlds. Close to everything in Taos, but still quiet and secluded enough to feel like you are out in a rural area.

    Our family absolutely loved this home. Premier Properties were professional in booking this property and it was everything plus more in their description. The home was very comfortable, had everything you needed to cook with and a great hot tub after a long day of skiing. I would highly recommend this property.

    When you drive up to Taos House, the magnificent 360 degrees of the mountains is your first impression. Then, when you enter the house, you are impressed with its Taos charm, the decor, the cleanliness, and the roominess. Spending a week here was delightful. The house is also conveniently located ten minutes away from grocery and drug stores, and not much farther to the Plaza. A couple of things posed minor problems such as the icemaker not working and the ice trays provided cracked and hard to use, and the oven not working. I reported this to the caretaker and he assured me he would notify the owner. He was so attentive and responsive to our calls, that I am certain he will do as he said. On the morning that we were to depart, there was a lot of snow on the driveway, making it difficult for us to leave. Chuck came over and made a pathway in the snow so that we could drive out. I would recommend the Taos House to anyone wanting a relaxing time in Taos with unbelievable views from every window.

    We didn't spend much time in the cabin as we skied every day. We basically just slept there. The house was clean and comfortable. The only drawbacks to the house are that we were told it would take 20 mins to get to the mountain. And in fact It probably does but with snow and ice on the road that time almost doubles. The other thing that was different was the fact that we had to pull the linens and start the wash before we left. We've never been asked to do that before. Overall I would stay there again.
    One more thing, when using google maps or any other electronic way to find this house. Make sure you look at the address outside the house before you try to get in. Google maps has the house located at the opposite end of the street.

    Beautiful house, gorgeous views, very comfortable. Beautiful art, etc. Had all the comforts of home. Bumpy, dusty roads to get there. TV did not work. Chuck was to come to fix, but he never did. Loved the stay. It was close to our Taos relatives. Would definitely stay there again, but would make sure the TV worked.

    Living room furniture very uncomfortable.
    House very hot when outside temp high first 2 weeks of stay. Fans were very little help. I did not realize air conditioning is not common here.

    We had 2 couples comfortably accommodated during our relaxing spring ski trip. We were slightly nervous coming into town since a service interruption disabled all cell phones in the valley for a few hours, but thankfully the caretaker's instructions and directions were spot on and we arrived without any trouble. Downtown and groceries are a short drive away so we were able to unwind our legs in the hot tub while dinner cooked in the well stocked kitchen. Once the sun went down we relaxed in front of the fire in the living room. A nice surprise was the radiant floor heat, which kept the house and bathrooms warm on bare feets until the sun took over by day. The house wifi was fast, easy to connect and let us plan the next day's adventure. A cozy, homey house, perfect for skiing and exploring the enchanted scenery. Would happily rent again.

    Near Perfect Except for Oven and Microwave Not Working

    We had a wonderful vacation here and would be glad to stay again in the future. Our stay would have been easier if the oven and microwave had worked. It would have been more romantic if the fireplace in the bedroom had been useable. Minor improvements would be reattaching towel and toilet paper holders in hall bath. Broken lamp in living room needs to be replaced, animal feces removed outside, leaves swept from front porch and the rotting door mat thrown away. The house was clean and it was great having the hot tub ready to use upon arrival.

    My daughter and I recently stayed at "Taos House". Everything about the house fit our needs. The beds were very comfortable, nice baths, and roomy living room/dining room/kitchen area.     We would definitely stay here again. Great layout for the four of us. Comfortable beds, lovely radiant heat floors. Would be nice if the tv had HD service. Kitchen well stocked, could use a cutting board. Hot tub nice. Location fine for us to get to Taos to ski even though on other side of town. It would be nice to be able to use the garage. Good provision of towels. Responsive caretaker.

    The house was perfect for us. We would like to rent this beautiful house again next year. We had everything we needed - two huge bedrooms, a hot tub, views of the incredible mountains, close to town, plenty of linens, a washer dryer. The only negatives were as follows - there was no arrangement for recycling; the master bedroom had a jacuzzi tub but no shower.

    Everything about Taos House was good and enjoyable. It was clean, well stocked with supplies and amenities; close to town; yet out from the hustle and bustle of the "big city" with great views of the mountains. The den furniture was adequate but not comfortable. The caretaker was very helpful. I would recommend TAOS HOUSE to my family.

    Wonderful Setting in Taos

    In person, Taos House has the same stunning views and cheerful Southwest interior that is shown in its photos. The house was wonderfully appointed from fresh towels and linens to cooking oils and condiments in the kitchen. The location a couple of miles south of town was tranquil and convenient to everything, provided you had a car. My artist friend and I were simply delighted with the house -- as soon as we unpacked, I called my husband and advised him to jump on a plane and come share the beauties of the place with us. Unfortunately, he couldn't, but take that as a measure of how much we loved Taos House. There are a few broken tiles in one of the bathroom floors that need repair, but that was literally the only thing that could be improved. If you want comfort and quiet after a busy day of adventure, this is a wonderful retreat.

    I would recommend this property to anyone. We had a great time. I would get a new couch, the one they have is like sitting on the chair lift at Taos, not very comfortable. We also had a mouse in the kitchen but were unable to catch it. Thanks .
