    We were so delighted to find ourselves in a location filled with art works and art museums. Our annual art walk started right there across the street and on down the hill on Ledoux. Being an artist and art lover, it was inspiring to see the contributions of people influential to the growth of the art town Taos became. The unit itself is beautifully furnished and generously stocked for cooking. Being so close to the primary plaza allowed us to easily return for refreshments or breaks in the busy days. The cleanliness and order showed the caretaker’s TLC of the place. Artists’s Retreat is hands-down the best place we have ever stayed.

    Excellent place to stay in every way. Well furnished, very clean, well maintained.
    Location could not be better. Located on small lane, leaving driveway made difficult by vehicles parking too close at end of driveway.

    Great rental except Queen bed needs replacing. Apparently a problem with the mattress/box springs. With any movement the bed made noise.

    Very cozy, great location, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Very glad to have the driveway for parking. That road is a tight fit.

    Would recommend putting some type of skid proof material on inclines joining bedrooms to level surface. They are pretty slick when wearing socks. Also, WiFi information needs to be more prominently displayed Wenever saw it in the book.

    We enjoyed the location which is in close proximity of Taos Plaza . The casita was clean and well stocked. It is located on a one way street and parking is VERY limited. We managed to park two cars end to end in the driveway, but couldn't close the gate. All in all a good place to stay in downtown Taos.

    This is a very cozy rental. It is an easy walk to the plaza, restaurants and shops. A big plus for me was off street parking. The property is well maintained. It is a very quiet location considering its proximity to busy streets. We were both very happy with the rental and would stay there again if it is available.

    Everything was very nice. Location was great with easy access to downtown.Home was clean and well furnished. Beds were comfortable. The property caretaker, Linda, does a great job and is very helpful with any questions. The one shower was slow draining, but I am confident this will be addressed. Would rent this property again.

    We always enjoy our stay here. The house is very charming, and in a great
    location for things we want to do in Taos. This time we noticed that there was new caretaker, and we thought she had added some extra touches that added to the the overall appeal of the house, so we would recommend her to your owners. The people we were with had not been in the house before, and they thought it was very nice and a special place to stay. We will all certainly come back. We have stayed here before, and will again, and I am sure our guests would want to do so as well.

    Artist's Retreat is a lovely traditional adobe on historic Ledoux street. It is in a perfect location with the square within a short walking distance. We were lucky to be in Taos with the lighting of the square and the luminarias on the street.

    The Artist's Retreat is pure perfection! Everything was taken care of, from quality linens to kitchen supplies. Wi-fi works, laundry is convenient, dishes are plentiful. Heaters, fans, skylights, window coverings all make it easy to keep comfortable. Everything is perfectly clean. No detail is overlooked, from to-go cups to 3 blow dryers to match the 3 bathrooms. Guests might like to know that the home has 2 bedroom wings, each with lock-offs and exterior access. The master has a bathroom. The 2nd wing has a bedroom with queen bed and smaller room with trundle beds and bath with laundry. The bath is accessed through the small room, which is fine for family. A 3rd bath is off the living area. It was perfect for us with 2 couples and one toddler. We will return!

    We loved our stay at the Artist Retreat oh historic Ledoux street. The historic adobe house was so roomy, stayed very cool during the hot days, and was so very quiet at nigh . We certainly enjoyed the secluded hot tub. Location was better than we imagined and we had a 2 block walk to the Square . The Taos Art Festival was in progress and it was very interesting, even for our 7 year old.
    As usual, Michael's, Bent Street Cafe, and Taos Inn were fantastic. Our only disappointment was Stella's Italian Rest., the food was awful and the inside was dirty. We won't go back.
    The three of us had a lovely stay.

    I loved this house. It's small but built perfectly for privacy. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the living room and the master has a separate entrance, bathroom and shut-off door if you want more privacy. It was sparkling clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pull out was even comfortable! We walked everywhere.

    It was wonderful except that we were not allowed to check-in until after 4:30 p.m. Housekeeping was running behind. Otherwise, location of the casita could not be beat and the casita itself was quiet and will appointed.

    Everything was perfect. The 'hosts' thought of everything( gee, 3tv's!) I believe we were the first guests-it was a privilege to stay any where close to the genius of Robert Gorman, painter, scullpturor, potter etc. Lovely to have his studio next door
    The galleries and museums just on our little street were fabulous. PERFECT
